FAQs
Do I need experience to start Pilates or personal training?
No experience needed. I work with all levels and will guide you through foundational movements, proper form, and modifications that meet you where you are.
What should I wear and bring to class?
Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing you can move in. Gripper socks or bare feet are fine for Pilates. Bring water and a small towel if you prefer. All equipment and props are provided.
Do I need to be flexible to do Pilates?
Not at all. Pilates helps build flexibility over time. We focus on mobility, strength, and alignment first — flexibility usually follows as a natural result.
Is Pilates good for back pain or injuries?
Pilates can be very beneficial for posture, core stability, and mobility. If you’re working through an injury, please let me know ahead of time. I’ll adjust exercises to ensure they’re safe and supportive. (Always consult with your healthcare provider first if you’re under medical care.)
How often should I train to see results?
Most clients notice changes in strength, posture, and body awareness after 1–2 sessions per week. Consistency matters more than intensity — we build progress intentionally.
What are the benefits of combining Pilates with strength training?
This combination improves core support, lean muscle, bone density, balance, and functional movement. You’ll move better, feel stronger, and build a foundation that supports everyday life and long-term wellness.
What if I have an injury, health condition, or limited mobility?
I specialize in meeting people where they are. Many clients come to me with physical limitations or special considerations. We will work within your range and adjust each movement so it feels safe and manageable.
How does scheduling and payment work?
You can book online or email. I accept major forms of payment. Packages are paid at the first session and may include savings for consistent training.
Do you offer private or beginner sessions?
Yes — I offer 1:1 Private sessions and a New Client Beginner session.
